How do I add my ScottNET email address to Microsoft Outlook 2010?

Open Microsoft Outlook

Step 1: Click on File, in the menu bar followed by "Account Settings"
You should be presented with a screen that looks similar to this:

Step 2: Click on Account Settings and then click on "New"

Step 3: Select "Email Account" and then select "Next"

Step 4: Select "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" and then press "Next"

Step 5: Select "Internet E-mail" and then press Next

Step 6: Populate the fields shown below. Take note to fill in your FULL email address in the User Name: field.

Once complete, click More settings.

Click "Outgoing Server" then "my outgoing server (smtp) requires authentication" and select the last option "log on to incoming mail server before sending mail." Click OK and then Next >

To finish your configuration select Finish. Your ScottNET email should now be setup.
