How to access ScottNET Webmail      |      Check to see if SPAM has been quarantined

ScottNET webmail can be access by either going straight to: http://webmail.scottnet.co.za or alternatively the link can be found on the home page of our website, as circled in red below or alternatively by going to "Client Zone" which can be found in the main menu of our website as circled below in red.

You should then see the screen below, fill in your full email address and password (should you not know what your email password is please email support@scottnet.co.za or alternatively contact our offices) Once you have filled in your email address and password click "Login"

Click on "Read Mail Using Horde" As circled in red below. You will then come to a screen that gives you the option to change Languages, leave it on the default "English (American)" and click "Log in"

Below is the main screen of your webmail. To Access your inbox click on "Inbox"

Here you will find your emails, this is where your emails sit before you press "Send & Recieve" on your computer, please note should you delete a mail from here you will NOT recieve the email on your PC, it will be deleted permanently. Toopen the email click on either the subject or the recipient to view the email.

Once you are in the email you have the option to delete, reply, forward or print the email etc. To get back to the inbox click on the Inbox icon circled in red below.

SPAM - HOW TO CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER

On your home screen of the webmail click on "Folders" up at the top (circled in red below) and select the Spam folder.

Here you will find all the emails that have been blocked as spam, should you find an email that has been blocked as spam that is a legit email you can move it to your inbox by putting a tick in the box next to the email you want to move (circled in red below) Then drop down the "Messages to" and select "Inbox" and then press "Move" and this will move the email out of the spam folder and into the Inbox.

Should you wish to delete a mail whether it is in your Inbox or Spam folder select the mail by putting a tick in the box next to the email and then press "Delete"

This will then put a line through the message (as shown below) and to permanently delete the email press "Purge Deleted" Please note Purge Deleting your mail will PERMANENTLY delete your emails, it will not go into a delted items and it will NOT be recoverable.

Once you are finished in your webmail click on "Log out"
